Bio
Patchwork Jazz Band is a Stockholm based jazz band formed in 2018 by musicians with a passion to play jazz in the streets. The inspiration comes from New Orleans, both bands of the past like King Oliver, Jelly Roll Morton and Bessie Smith, and current bands like Tuba Skinny and Shotgun Jazz Band.
For the last two years, they have been playing a mix of happy jazz standards, mournful blues, spirituals and exotic rhythms in bars, in the streets around Stockholm and at dance events.
