Rose Melody is a young swing band which founds its inspiration in traditional big bands, however it reduces it into a smaller package of 6 instrumentalists and 2 singers. Our repertoir consists of the best swing melodies from 1920’s till present days. What is more some popular evergreens from pop and also classical music can be heard during our performances.
We believe that swing and ballroom dance grows in its popularity again. That’s why we try to offer all rhytms for dancers including waltz, quickstep, slowfox, jive, samba, rumba, salsa etc.
These rhytms are borrowed from many musical genres mainly from jazz, swing, blues, pop, rock, but also from country, classical music, rock’n’roll and even from folk music.

All our members are profesional musicians with many experience from several orchestras.
We also offer concerts influenced by classical music accompanied by our band with string quarted, which is formed by musicians of Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
